Description

Coltsfoot is a species of herbaceous plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. Native to Eurasia, it was introduced to North America and elsewhere as a medicinal plant. It typically grows in unstable high-alkaline soils, especially in landfills and disturbed areas.

This perennial rhizome plant is one of the most widely used pectoral plants in phytotherapy.
