The Moroccan farm of our parent company Biolandes is located right next to a production site located in Khemisset, in the north of the country, in the “green belt” area between the ocean and the Atlas Mountains. Our second production unit in El Kelaa, in the south, is used to process raw materials such as rose and mugwort.
We leverage our stills and extractors to process the raw materials grown on-site or gathered from the environs. Our plantations cover nearly 200 hectares and were converted to organic farming in 2003. A quarter of this surface area is used to grow bitter oranges which we use in many forms: essential oil, hydrolat, concrete, absolute etc. The remaining surface area is used for crops such as mimosa, geranium, Curry plant and chamomile. There are forty or so permanent employees, and many more seasonal workers during the harvest, (up to 1,200 for the orange blossom harvest).
