Our production site in Provence is located in Valréas in Vaucluse, in the south of France. It is thus located in the heart of the second largest region producing aromatic and medicinal plants, close to Drôme. This means we can reliably source top-quality plant material, being located as close as possible to the gathering areas.
The production site is equipped with stills and distillation chambers to produce essential oils and hydrolats from both conventionally and organically farmed plants, as well as extractors to produce concretes and oleoresins. Biolandes Valréas is a versatile, efficient production site given its prime location and high-capacity industrial facilities. Thus, nearly 35 plant species are processed throughout the year, depending on the harvest period. Most of these materials are sourced locally or from elsewhere in France, although some plants from further afield are also processed.
