Description

Marjoram is a perennial plant species of the Lamiaceae family. Native to the eastern Mediterranean Basin, it has been cultivated all over Europe since antiquity for its aromatic leaves, prized as a culinary herb. The Oreganoum majorana species is very closely related to common oregano (Origanum vulgare).
