ORANGE SWEET

Description

Citrus sinensis is an orange tree of the Rutaceae family, native to the region between the Himalayas and southern China. The Portuguese brought it to Europe ca. 1400, after which its cultivation spread widely in a number of countries. The fruit of Citrus sinensis is called the sweet orange to distinguish it from the bitter orange, the fruit of Citrus aurantium.
