STINGING NETTLE
Description
Stinging nettle is an herbaceous flowering plant originally native to Europe and the temperate regions of Asia and now found all around the world. Measuring 60 to 150 cm in height, it has long urticating hairs and small soft setae. Despite the painful sting that it delivers upon contact, it has been used since antiquity for multiple purposes: as a food, beverage or medicine, and also as a textile fiber and fertilizer.
