TARRAGON
Description
Tarragon is a highly aromatic plant native to Central Asia, widely used in French cuisine as an herb. Its cultivation for perfumery is a tradition in Provence, where small plots of tarragon are grown for the production of essential oil. The plant is harvested twice per year, in June and September, and its flowering tops are distilled directly in the collection tanks, using the same process as for lavandin.
