Description

Valerian is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Caprifoliaceae family. Commonly found in damp zones like grasslands, forests and riverbanks, it grows as tall as two meters and produces small white or pink flowers. Originally native to Europe and Asia, it is now widely cultivated in France and Eastern Europe.
