The vanilla plant is an orchid native to Mexico. Its cultivation has gradually spread to several other countries, making it one of the world’s most widely consumed spices. Today Madagascar is the leading producer of Vanilla planifolia beans, its “Bourbon” quality being the most highly prized.

Our factory in Ambanja, Madagascar, sources vanilla beans from selected growers in the famous “Vanilla Triangle” in the northeast part of the country. We produce a wide range of vanilla extracts used in various applications. We also source certified organic green vanilla from growers in the Ambanja region, and transform it into black vanilla.
