Located on the island of Anjouan, our distillery is the largest in the region, thus consolidating Biolandes HEC’s position as the leading producer of ylang-ylang essential oil in terms of quality and quantity, and a leading exporter of essential oils for over 10 years.
The production site boasts a dozen stainless steel stills running on less energy than traditional systems. Some 15 permanent employees work daily on the site. Ylang-ylang grown in the Comoros has a distinctive fragrance, bestowed by the soil. Supplied by our network of partner farmers, the fresh flowers are of impeccable quality, grown to high standards in terms of ethical and sustainability, with strict traceability.
