Description

Native to the temperate regions of the Caucasus and Iran, the quince tree is a species of shrub belonging to the Rosaceae family. At maturity, it produces a large pear-shaped fruit with a cottony surface and an intense odor. For the plant to reach full maturity it must grow in a Mediterranean-like climate with long warm periods.
